Chiefs dominate Excelsiors

The Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs took care of business Tuesday night, beating a short-staffed Brampton Excelsiors 12-2.
Randy Staats, Dhane Smith and Cody Jamieson each had six-point nights to lead the way. Staats scored five goals, while Jamieson had two and Smith netted one.

Jordan Durston also had a big game, scoring twice adding three assists, with Craig Point netting a pair of goals.
Dillon Ward wasn't tested often with 34 shots, but was forced to make several huge saves.
Junior B goalie Taylor Welch made his Major Series Lacrosse debut for the Excelsiors and made 36 stops.
The Chiefs improve to 10-5-2, which puts them in third place, one point over the Oakville Rock, with one game remaining in the regular season.
On Thursday, the chiefs and Excelsiors go back at it at 8 p.m., in Brampton.
